Codename - Interaction !

Were back ! Just a quick post to say that we are still running the blog ...... We are going to let our news accumulate and try and make a documentary at least once every 3 weeks , complete with a new youtube video and a wright-up on this blog , this is all part of our new interaction campaign aimed at making history more fun , intuitive and "hands on" so if there is a particular topic that you are interested in E-mail us on

This week we had 3 family's in and we had a call from our friends in the Order of Malta Carlow unit , great feed back on our new trench , Thursday  we had 5th and 6th class from Leighlinbridge N.S. we hope they had a good time . The Pupils were given a tour by Peter and a lecture by Jake . Hope the season stays this busy !

Well its the start of our weekly blog and we have some good news today as we were very busy all day today with visitors right up to 5 o'clock. We managed to help a mr. D. with some family resech by using our on site files , we managed to help him get his uncles service number , well done to Paul on that one. We also have our trench finally restored , transforming the back of it into a WW1 medical station including an original stretcher dated 1917 !
Hopefully next week will be as busy !
